Jennifer Kuhl-Melillo

Jennifer has been a part of the public relations industry for more than a decade and is well known for her tenacity with the media and generating results. She has a sharp understanding of how to tell a story to the press, what they want to hear and how to make them listen. She has worked with many prestigious firms and clients alike.

Before consulting with Farrell Talbot Consulting, Jennifer was at Peppercom, a mid-sized New York-based agency where she served both consumer and business-to-business clients. She was responsible for client relations, account team management and overseeing and performing the execution of strategic media relations programs. In 2006, Jennifer spent several month’s at Peppercom’s UK office helping manage a marketing campaign for Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions, around its involvement in the FIFA World Cup. Other key clients Jennifer represented include Ernst & Young, Ricoh, Rohm and Haas, Unisys and Valspar.

Prior to Peppercom, Jennifer worked as a Senior Account Executive in the Corporate & Executive Positioning Group of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, where she provided executive positioning and media relations counsel for clients including Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Newell Rubbermaid, and Siemens Financial Services. Additionally, Jennifer worked with Weber Shandwick – Paris, servicing the global media relations office for Paris 2012.

Before joining Weber Shandwick Worldwide, Jennifer spent four years in the Corporate Practice at GCI Group, where she worked her way up from an entry level position to Account Executive. During her stint at GCI Group, she was involved in the implementation of client media relations programs. Specializing in the IT services space, she played a key role in the re-branding campaign for Capgemini and took part in promoting workplace balance and diversity initiatives for both Intel Corporation and Dell, Inc. She also worked on the launch of Abbey National Treasury Services’ US operations creating visibility for the institution among national as well as local business and financial media. 

Jennifer graduated cum laude from the Florida State University’s College of Communication with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in both Marketing and Italian. She lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
